Who we are
RP General Construction, Inc. is a family owned and operated business with over 100 years of combined experience in the field of paving & general construction. We provide services throughout Southern & Northern California including the high deserts. The Company undertakes both private and public work. Including factories, offices, retail units; schools, hospitals, and public buildings. RP General specializes in grading & paving, asphalt: new and repair, sealcoat, and striping, stamped and regular concrete, underground, concrete footings, additions and remodels, and masonry. RP General is a BBB A+ rated accredited business.
Licensed under A (General Engineering), B (General Building), and C-27 (Landscaping), we proudly serve both public and private sectors throughout California—from Southern and Northern regions to the high deserts. Our work reflects a deep commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and long-term value.

Ramiro Ponce
The founder of RP General Construction, Inc. Mr. Ponce started in the asphalt industry at the early age of 15 working for his father’s asphalt paving company. Over the last 30 years Mr. Ponce’s hard work and dedication has allowed him to be a master of many trades. With his exceptional work ethic, he went on to work for leading asphalt companies, such as MGI, George Weir, and Hazard. Shortly after his father’s passing, Ponce was fueled with the desire to continue his legacy and in 2008, he took a leap of faith and created a family owned-and-operated paving company. The foundation of our company is built on family values, friendly customer service, knowledge of the industry, and a passion for paving.
